The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has recently released the results for the Matric (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) examinations for the academic year 2021-22. The results were eagerly awaited by thousands of students who had appeared for these exams earlier this year.
The results for the Matric exams were declared on April 5, 2022, while the results for the Intermediate exams were declared on March 31, 2022. The exams for both the classes were conducted in February 2022.
The pass percentage for the Matric exams was recorded at 85.94%, while the pass percentage for the Intermediate exams was recorded at 79.57%. A total of 14,98,914 students had appeared for the Matric exams, out of which 12,87,920 students have passed. On the other hand, a total of 12,72,799 students had appeared for the Intermediate exams, out of which 10,13,568 students have passed.
The BSEB has also released the subject-wise toppers for both the Matric and Intermediate exams. The subject-wise toppers for the Matric exams are as follows:
Pooja Kumari (97.6%) from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Jamui
Jyoti Kumari (97.2%) from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Jamui
Anshika Kumari (96.8%) from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Jamui
The subject-wise toppers for the Intermediate exams are as follows:
Sonali Kumari (94.4%) from Science stream
Khushboo Kumari (93.2%) from Commerce stream
Roshni Kumari (92.4%) from Arts stream
The BSEB has also provided the students with the facility to check their results online. The students can visit the official website of the BSEB (http://biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in/) and enter their roll number and other details to check their results.
The BSEB has taken various measures to ensure that the exams were conducted in a fair and transparent manner. The board had introduced strict guidelines for the exams and had also installed CCTV cameras at various examination centers to prevent malpractices.
