CSIR UGC NET Exam June 2022 In order to determine whether Indian citizens are eligible for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and Lectureships (LS)/Assistant Professor positions in Indian Universities and Colleges in CBT mode, the National Testing Agency (NTA) invites online applications for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination in June 2022.

Essential educational requirements for eligibility include
Candidates must hold a master’s degree or an equivalent diploma, integrated BS-MS, BS-4 years, BE, B. Tech, B. Pharma, or MBBS, with not less than 55% (without rounding off) marks for general (UR)/general-EWS and OBC candidates and 50% (without rounding off) marks for candidates who identify as SC/ST, Third Gender, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
Candidates who have finished the aforementioned qualifying examination after 10+2+3 years or who are presently enrolled in an M.Sc. programme are also eligible to apply in the aforementioned subject under the Result Awaited (RA) class as long as they complete the qualifying degree with the necessary number of points within two years of the Joint CSIR-UGC examination date.
UGC NET Test announcement; otherwise, they will be treated as disqualified.
Such candidates must present an attestation form that has been properly authorised by the department or institute where they are displaying or have previously exhibited (Annexure-V) (Annexure-V).
holders of B.Sc. (Hons.) or similar degrees or university students enrolled in an integrated MS-PhD curriculum with at least 55% in the general education prerequisites
Applicants who are (UR)/General-EWS and OBC are also eligible to apply, and those who are (PwD) or who identify as a third gender are also eligible with 50% of the marks. For CSIR fellowships, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and must have applied for or been accepted into a Ph.D. or Integrated Ph.D. programme within the program’s two-year validity period. Candidates
only junior research grants (JRFs), not lectureships or assistant professor positions, are open to those with only a bachelor’s degree (with out rounding off).
The only applicants who may apply for fellowships are those who recently completed their MBBS or whose results are still pending. These candidates are ineligible for assistant professor or lecturer positions.
Lectureship by an assistant professor. It is not advisable to use candidates who have a B.Sc. (Hons.) from the previous academic year or a pending result.
Specifications of Levels, as Published in UGC’s Gazette Notification No. F (whether or not a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is awarded). The terms of 5-1/2013 (CPP-II), dated July 5, 2014, and as updated from time to time, shall be used.
