CEPTAM 10 A&A Junior Translation Officer Eligibility Criteria (JTO)
Master’s degree in English/Hindi from a recognised university, with Hindi/English as a compulsory/elective subject at the degree level OR
Master’s degree from a recognised university in any subject with Hindi as the medium of instruction and examination at the degree level with English as a compulsory subject OR
Bachelor’s degree in Hindi and English, or one of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a main subject, plus a recognised Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or two years’ experience in translation work from Hindi to English in Central or State Government offices, including Government of India Undertakings.

Stenographer Grade-I (English Typing)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Norms for skill tests: 10 minutes of dictation at 100 words per minute. 40 minutes of transcription (in English) (only on computers).

Grade II Stenographer (English Typing)
A 12th Class pass from a recognised Board or University is required.
Norms for skill tests: Dictation time: 10 minutes at an average speed of 80 words per minute. Transcription time: 50 minutes (in English) (only on computers).

12th Class pass Administrative Assistant ‘A’ (English Typing) Alternatively, an equivalent qualification from a recognised Board or University.
Computer skill test norms: English typing at 35 words per minute (Time allowed -10 minutes.) (35 words per minute equates to 10500 KDPH based on an average of 5 key depressions per word).
Age Restrictions: 18-27 Years
12th Class pass Administrative Assistant ‘A’ (Hindi Typing) Alternatively, an equivalent qualification from a recognised Board or University.

Computer skill test norms: Hindi typing at 30 words per minute. (30 words per minute equates to 9000 KDPH based on an average of 5 key depressions per word). Time allotted: 10 minutes
Age Restrictions: 18-27 Years
Passport for Security Assistant ‘A’ 12th Class In the case of ex-servicemen, an equivalent certificate from a recognised board or university, or an equivalent certificate awarded by the Armed Forces.

10th Standard Pass for Vehicle Operator ‘A’
Other Important Requirement:
Possession of a valid driver’s licence for two or three wheelers as well as light and heavy vehicles, as well as knowledge of motor mechanisms (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle).
Driving a car for at least three years is required.
Age Restrictions: 18-27 Years
Fire Engine Driver ‘A’ Pass from a recognised Board in 10th Standard.
Possession of a valid driver’s licence for two or three wheelers as well as light and heavy vehicles, as well as knowledge of traffic laws
