FCI Category III Recruitment Eligibility Requirements J.E. (Civil Engineering)
Degree or diploma in civil engineering with one year of experience.
Age restriction of 28 years maximum
J.E. (Electrical Mechanical) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Diploma with one year of experience or a mechanical engineering diploma with one year of experience.
Age restriction of 28 years maximum
Steno. Graduation level II with a shorthand and typing speed of 40 and 80 words per minute, respectively.
Age restriction of 25 years maximum
Graduate degree in any field from an accredited university with skill in using computers, designated as AG-III (General).

Given that translation from English to Hindi and vice versa may be the primary responsibility of an Assistant Grade-III (Hindi), having Hindi typing skills is even a requirement. During the probationary period, Hindi Typing at a speed of 30 words per minute would be tested to evaluate the same. Candidate must pass the required Typing Test before probation can be confirmed.
