Qualifications for the JAG Entry Program
Minimum 55% overall in their LLB degree (five years after 10 plus 2 or three years after graduation) examination. Additionally, all applicants (including LLM qualified and LLM appearing candidates) who apply for courses beginning in a specific year must have a CLAT PG Score from the previous year. The candidates must be qualified to register with the Bar Council of India or their respective state as advocates. Candidate must have graduated from a Bar Council of India-recognized college or university.

The Integrated HQ of MoD (Army)
maintains the ability to shortlist applicants without providing a rationale. Selection Procedure for JAG Entry Scheme Candidates will be notified via email of the Center allotment following the shortlisting of applications. Candidates must log on to the website after receiving their Selection Center allotment in order to choose their SSB dates, which are initially accessible on a first come, first serve basis. The Selection Centers will then distribute it. Candidates’ ability to choose the dates for the SSB may be lost in the event of any exceptional circumstances or incidents.
At the selection centres in Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka), and Kapurthala, only those who have been shortlisted and are eligible will take the SSB (PB). There will be a call letter for the SSB interview from the appropriate Selection
focus exclusively on the registered SMS and email addresses of candidates. The Directorate General of Recruiting, IHQ of MoD (Army), decides how to distribute the selection centres, and no requests for modifications will be considered in this regard.
There will be a two stage selection process for candidates. Stage II is for those who pass Stage I. Those who don’t pass stage I will be sent home that day. The SSB interview lasts for five days, and information about it is available on the Directorate General of Recruiting’s official website at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. If a candidate is suggested after Stage II, a medical exam will be conducted after that.
